Wednesday 10th November 2010 - The Actuarial Recruitment Company will be delivering a lecture at 1:30pm in room G.207 in the Alan Turing Building for anyone interested in a career as an actaury.

Further details to follow.

Thursday 11th November 2010 - Deutsche Bank will be hosting a stand in the Atrium of the Alan turing Building to discuss their available graduate and intern opportunities.

Representatives will be available from 10:30am until 2:30pm and anyone interested in finding out more should pop along on the day.

Andrew Cawley, KPMGs Head of Pensions in the UK, will be visiting the School to discuss current and future opportunities within the sector. Spaces will be issued on a first come first served basis.

representatives from Grant Thornton (a tax, accountancy and consulting firm) will be hosting a stand in the Atrium of the Alan Turing Building. Students interested in learning about the graduate and intern opportunities available should pop along on the day.

Worshipful Company of Actuaries' annual lecture - 'A Future With Risk: So You Think You Want To Be An Actuary?'

Lecture Theatre A, University Place - registration from 5:15pm, lecture at 5:30pm

Nigel Masters, the immediate past President of the Institute of actuaries and who earlier this year stepped down as group Chief Life Actuary for Zurich, will be delivering the second annual WCA lecture. All actuarial students are expected to attend this event. Any other students wishing to attend this lecture should request a space by emailing Sebastian Rees.

Tuesday 22nd February 2011 - Teach First will be hosting a careers stand in the Atrium of the Alan Turing Building, from 12 noon to 2pm, to discuss their current vacancies and future opportunities.

Wednesday 23rd February - IBM will be hosting a careers lecture in G207 of the Alan Turing Building from 1pm - 3pm. Further details can be viewed here.

Monday 28th March 2011 - IBM will be running a mock assessment session for students of the School of Mathematics. Anyone interested in attending should request a space by emailing Sebastian.Rees@manchester.ac.uk.

October 12th 2011 - the 4th annual Calculating Careers Fair will take place in the Atrium of the Alan Turing Building. Confirmed employers attending this year's event include:
