Manchester Mathematics Resource Centre
Drop-in centre for mathematical enquiries
The Centre operates from George Begg / C.006 . George Begg is building 17 on the campus map.
The centre exists for the purpose of providing help and advice on mathematical topics to students of the University of Manchester (and in particular in the EPS faculty) who are taking mathematics modules as part of another discipline or who encounter some mathematics as part of the study of another discipline. This includes (for students)
- explanation of mathematical topics causing difficulty
- help with revision for forthcoming exams
Please note that the centre does not exist to provide the answers for coursework assignments etc. While enquiries about past exam papers are encouraged, mere requests for solutions are not.
The next sessions organised by the Centre will be those organised immediately before and during the May/June Exams 2012. It is planned to open on the following dates. This has not yet been finalised so please keep checking this page.
